This spot is a gem hidden inside of an understated food court full of Asian fusion spots. It really took me for a ride down memory lane, back to the days when I walked the dingy alleyways of Central South Korea. You get bang for your buck and the broth for the standard ramen is a nice blend of flavors. I would like to try a spicier bowl next time. In order to testify to the people, I also got the chicken appetizer with the house made sauce. This is something you can skip as it was a bit dry. Next time, I will get the takoyaki or just skip the appetizer altogether. I also had a misunderstanding with the server. I thought she was asking me if I was done with the appetizer, and when I said yes, she dumped everything into the bowl when I had the strongest desire to kill of the broth and whatever was hiding underneath that ocean of flavor but no harm no foul. If it's a cold or rainy day in the area and it's feeding time, I'm going to Ishindo.

Best ramen I have ever had. The broth is to die for and the meat melts in your mouth. Great vegetarian selection almost everything on the menu can be made vegetarian. Cool imported sodas such as the yuzu soda which I loved. The cute hole in the wall vibe was so fun and the staff were so kind and funny. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

Vegetarian here: I love ramen and always appreciate a ramen place that has vegetarian options and puts thought and care into them. (At least they promised there was no fish or chicken in the broth!) This place is fantastic. I had their spicy miso vegetarian option and it was delicious. The right amount of kick. It was flavorful. Generous portion of noodles and broth. Would absolutely go back when visiting here again. The tofu they have is interesting. It's a little sweet and spongy. I wish they portioned a little more but was still great. The place itself is a bit packed together. It sits sort of behind the Asian market there and is a little hard to find but has a decent amount of parking it seemed.

Love this place! A favorite of mine. Def a hidden gem in a sorta of shady-looking complex, lol. The folks at this little spot are service-oriented and kind. Their don bowls are so good — all of them. Their crispy chicken and the beef one are my fave. Love their spicy miso ramen. A def try ramen spot in Boston. 🥰 Compared to other, more sophisticated ramen spots, this place is very simple. But I rate it highly for the consistency and wholesomeness of their flavor. It’s good ramen.
